Production Manager

**Objective**:We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Production Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and is directly involved with product and process. This role requires a team player, high drive, and a passion for continuous improvement. You’ll lead and optimize all operations activities to ensure our products meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Key Responsibilities**:- Lead and manage production operations through direct supervision and by coaching front-line supervisors, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.- Develop and execute the production schedule, monitor performance, and take action to drive efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve throughput.- Actively participate on the floor—supporting teams, removing obstacles, and promoting a “lead by example” mindset.- Analyze and improve production methods and processes to enhance quality and productivity.- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production metrics and results.- Work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Planning to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.- Drive the validation and compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.- Prepare and manage departmental budgets and resource plans; identify cost-saving opportunities.- Recommend and implement improvements in layout, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Qualifications**:- 5+ years of experience in a similar production leadership role.- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.- Bilingual: English and Spanish required.- Strong leadership and communication skills.- Comfortable in a hands-on environment.- Ability to lead teams through change and drive continuous improvement.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Always one step ahead—proactive and solutions-driven.- Enjoys being close to the product and working side-by-side with the team.- Thrives on challenge and adapts quickly to new demands.- Focused, humble, and highly collaborative.- Committed to quality, ownership, and operational excellence.Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Rosarito, B.C.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- Are you able to have a fluent conversation in English?Work Location: In person
