Our services include customer specific design assistance, design flow, RTL-to-GDSII implementation for blocks, sub-systems, and full SoCs, as well as executing full SoC turnkey designs from specification-to-parts. Our customers range from industry leaders to start-ups and government agencies, developing products for high-performance computing, automotive, aerospace & government, and more.- We have an immediate opening for a Senior Site manager for our facilities in Zapopan (Guadalajara Metropolitan Area), Mexico. This is a hands-on leadership role. As a site manager you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the site operations, achieving optimum business performance ensuring operational compliance and efficiency, maximizing growth opportunities and continuous improvement. Engaging, leading, and developing the regional operations in collaboration with the regional R&D manager to shape the strategy in our Mexico operations.**The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to**:- Lead and develop the operational capabilities in the region with a focus on continuous improvement and growth- Manage the planning and development of all operations including recruitment, budget tracking and submitting reports- Manage the site financial performance and operational compliance in collaboration with the corporate teams- Review and track the budget with internal stakeholders- Create and manage resource plans to achieve results- Recruit and coordinate staffing- Monitor performance and schedule training as necessary- Work with R&D managers and team leads to drive a strong and collaborative culture- Collaborate with local businesses to acquire necessary resources and services- Contribute to the overall Synopsys global success with excellent customer service- Sustain, retain, and improve excellent customer service in the region- Identify opportunities for development / repeat business in conjunction with the Business Development teams- Build professional relationships with local partners including local government and universities**Key qualifications include**:- Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or Engineering management (advanced degree such as MBA is a plus)- 15 years in a similar role with prior managerial experience- Have working knowledge of semiconductor industry- Possess a demonstratable background of leading, engaging and improving operations- Good people-management skills with proactive and engaging approach to planning- Finance and business knowledge paired with proven success in operational growth and delivery- Possess a collaborative and flexible communication style with the ability to deal with cross functional internal and external stakeholders on a regional and global basis- Fluent in English both verbal and written**EEO**Inclusion and Diversity are important to us.
