Mgr - Financial Shared Services

**Purpose Statement**:The Mgr - Shared Services is accountable for managing the AMER Finance Shared Services team and the centralized execution of shared financial processes for our finance operations team. The Mgr - Shared Services - AMER Finance will lead the development of the systems and processes necessary to support customer financial analysis and financial transactions in AMER manufacturing sites. The Mgr - Shared Services - AMER Finance will lead the implementation of the common toolsets necessary to ensure that cost and financial analysis processes are appropriately tied to business results and enable site finance team members to partner with their CFT teams. This role will focus on bringing consistency to site processes and gaining overall efficiency within the finance function.**Key Job Accountabilities**:- Develops common toolsets to help manage the finance function by leading coordinating of efforts between site SMEs and members of the Shared Services team.- Drives uniform standards to ensure sites are aligned on cost processes and procedures; train appropriate staff and SMEs to support cost activities within the site. Leads site resources through the analysis processes using these toolsets to analyze cost drivers and create leverage on our cost base.- Partners with site SMEs across all operations finance functions to streamline the analysis processes for drivers of financial performance, LCM improvement and overall transformation cost to enhance productivity and overall site P&L performance.- Serves as the regional resource for Financial Cost Analyst and Finance Business Partners to deliver common training, standards, and guidelines necessary to achieve our cost and financial strategies.**Additional Job Accountabilities**:- Partners with colleagues at each site to successfully complete assignments and initiatives.- Create centralized solutions that help remove common work from manufacturing sites to allow better focus on financial analysis and achieving improved financial results.- Use systems and tools such as robotic process automation through Power Query, UI Path and other tools to automate reporting and drive consistency between sites.- Ensure costing solutions meet internal customer needs and provide adequate information to use cost as a strategic driver of decision making- Participate in continuous improvement projects related to costing processes and tools.- Focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.- Additional duties as assigned.**Education and Experience**:- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Operations is required.- Five (5) years of related experience is required; Three (3) or more years of equivalent industry experience is preferred.- Project Management and Financial experience is required.- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.- Formal training and certification in Lean Sigma Green Belt from the American Society of Quality (ASQ) is preferred.- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.**Qualifications and Skills**:- Strong negotiation and analytic skills.- Computer literacy in MRP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project are essential.- Advanced written and verbal communication skills are required.- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage several global projects at a time.- General office equipment and materials.**Work Environment**:- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.**Travel Requirements**:- N/A- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
