**Job Details**GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Responsible for the day-to-day operation and follow-up to the production floor in order to achieve the operational results of the plant.MAIN FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:- Responsible for the occupational health and safety (physical and emotional) of production floor operators.- Follow-up to the production floor hour by hour.- Optimizes resources to meet production schedules.- Directly responsible for the supervision of the plant (operational monitoring, evaluations, etc.)- Responsible for the effective implementation of continuous improvement strategies such as: 5's, SMED, HPT, visual plant, process balances, HK, etc.- Complies with the established product quality levels.- Ensure on-time deliveries and total customer satisfaction.- Ensures on-time delivery of production orders and related matters.- Establishment of metrics for the department, measurement and analysis of goal compliance.- Conducts itself in accordance with the company's code of ethics and respects the RIT and security.- Responsible for maintaining and improving the organizational climate in the production floor.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:- Completed Professional Career in Engineering areas.- Proven experience of 10 years in manufacturing plants in production floor positions and a minimum of 5 years (production supervisor, production manager, production manager, etc.- Leadership and communication skills- Software: Office package.- Desirable certification in lean manufacturing (green belt, black belt, lean implementer, etc.)- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple activities and projects.- Ability to work under pressure and Ability to work for objectives.- Knowledge in 8D's- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 system.- English minimum 85%- Wide availability to work second shift.
