Materiality Interior Designer

We are hiring a**What You Will Be Doing**:Help build, maintain, and organize new finish library. Develop inspiring color and finish palettes for the design team aligning with overall brand POV and story. Keep updated on new releases and cull notices and communicate to the team.- Passion for design, color, and materiality and desire to stay informed on trends and innovations.- Review visual assets such as renderings and photoshoots.- Develop training materials and resources for the team.- Working relationship with local visualization studio to ensure materiality accuracy in renderings, and cross-sharing opportunities.- Order finish samples and maintain finish libraryAt Steelcase, we know that work matters and can provide people with a deep sense of purpose. We will continue to maintain this practice as part of our larger hybrid work strategy.- While flexibility varies by role and team, we support choice and control for our employees so they can choose the best place to do their best work.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design is a must- Advanced English is a must- Applicable experience from 2-4 years is a must- Critical eye for detail and accuracy.- Excellent eye for color, pattern, and texture.- Ability to help communicate the design intent of a space through materiality.- Ability to give and receive thoughtful and constructive feedback to the design team.- Able to develop creative and thoughtful design solutions and to see the big picture.- Experience working with interior finishes and têxtiles- Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish projects.Preferred Skills and Competencies- Demonstrated ability in Revit, CET, pCon and AutoCAD (as needed) and proficient in other tools (Sketchup, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, etc.)- Working knowledge and familiarity with Steelcase portfolio (product and finishes)**Why People Choose to Work With Us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
