This role involves testing APIs, cloud environments (GCP and AWS), and delivering end-to-end quality assurance for complex applications. Ideal candidates can work independently, manage test cycles from start to finish, and have a strong foundation in both functional and automation testing. Someone who’s hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and curious—comfortable driving manual QA efforts day‑to‑day but eager to grow their automation skills over time. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy testing complex systems, collaborating cross‑functionally, and taking ownership of quality delivery. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases across web and API layers. Validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications deployed on GCP and AWS. Write and maintain Cucumber test cases and contribute to automation frameworks as needed. Conduct detailed API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and document defects clearly. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth release cycles. Own QA processes for assigned projects and work independently with minimal supervision. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and release readiness reviews. Qualifications 3–7 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation). Hands‑on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Experience testing applications in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Working knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.). Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect management tools (e.g., Jira). Ability to write and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Strong communication skills and ability to manage test efforts independently.
