Mexico City, Mexico- Full time**What you will do**:- Conduct legal research and provide advice on applicable laws in the countries of presence in the LATAM region, including commercial, consumer protection, advertising, e-commerce, digital platform regulation, and labor relations.-- Monitor and analyze legislation, develop recommendations, and propose necessary changes to products while conducting risk analysis.-- Handle contractual matters, including developing and analyzing various contract forms such as license agreements, public offers, loan agreements, service provision agreements, etc., and other legal documents used in the company's operations. Provide support for large contractual projects.-- Prepare and draft user guidelines and policies (Terms and Conditions, safety guidelines, etc.), ensuring timely updates as required.-- Review and provide legal advice on marketing and advertising campaigns.-- Review and analyze requests from different authorities, verifying their legitimacy, and preparing appropriate legal responses.-- Draft basic memos to address stakeholders' legal requirements.-- Collaborate closely with the Senior Lawyer and Legal Lead LATAM to ensure optimal efficiency of the team in managing applicable laws in the countries of presence in the LATAM region.**Requirements**:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a generalist lawyer, preferably with a focus on major tech multinational corporations and ride-hailing (experience in these areas is a plus).-- Proficiency in working with the legislation of the LATAM region.-- Excellent research and analytical skills.-- Fluency in English at a B2+ level, with the ability to effectively speak, write, and comprehend English.-- Demonstrates a high level of responsibility and self-organization.-- Exhibits a strong sense of independence and initiative.-- Possesses flexibility and critical thinking abilities.-- Openness to feedback and willingness to learn and improve.-- Ability to work with a flexible schedule and effectively prioritize tasks within projects.-- Capable of conveying information concisely while drawing meaningful conclusions.-- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive and collaborative interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.**We offer**:- Be part of a growing and innovative company with a unique approach to ride-hailing.-- Enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment where new ideas and perspectives are encouraged and valued.-- Have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company and the industry as a whole.-- Grow your skills and experience through challenging and rewarding work, with opportunities for advancement as the company expands.-- Competitive salary and great work-life balance-- Opportunity for advancement and upward mobility within the organization, allowing for increased levels of responsibility and growth within the company-- Global exposure.
