The Role We are looking for a highly motivated salesperson to join the sales team for SCM (Supply Chain Management) in Mexico. Leveraging on the strength of our existing SCM organization, the mission of this team is to engage with our customers, partners and collaborate with Industry field sales presenting and selling the value of our end-to-end Supply Chain Management solution portfolio. We act as market makers to identify and qualify new opportunities, creating and progressing deals and eventually negotiate to conclude sales transactions. At SAP sales engagements are a collaborative effort where Line of Business sales are part of a virtual account team in which sales professionals collaborate in a matrix model. It is the power of the collaboration model that leads to higher success. The Line of Business salesperson can count on the support of an extensive network of experts across the Belux organisation as well as regional and global teams of business development experts and presales professionals. KEY EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS The position requires the full ownership of go to market activities for a given territory within SAP Mexico. We expect our new colleague to proactively own his territory and execute all tasks needed from early discovery phase to closing of deals. Serve as an integral member of a sales team of supply chain experts delivering results for the Belux Market Unit in a best-in-class manner, leveraging the broader SCM organization Solution expertise of Supply Chain solutions Clear focus on driving profitable revenue results & positive customer technology adoption Work effectively in a team environment and generate high impact results Ensure that work streams are delivered within scope and on time and be responsible for detailed status reporting to regional leadership team Responsible for identifying & implementing performance improvement ideas PERSONAL SKILLS Strong organizational skills to drive sales engagements within a highly agile and changing business environment Programmatic capabilities to own, drive and execute sales cycle Excellent internal & external communication skills to clearly articulate the business value & differentiation of the SCMsolution portfolio Excellent communication & presentation skills with customers and SAP partners to position the value of the entire SCMsolution portfolio Foster collaboration within the presales and business development community and the SAP extended team to drive deals Competitive knowledge and the ability to articulate the key SAP solution differentiators to SAP partners as well as customers Deliver on quarterly business results including management reporting and forecasting Empathy of cultural and regional difference within our country Anticipate change, innovative business acumen and out of the box thinking to guide execution in a fast-paced environment Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
