This is a remote, work from home position. We are seeking a remote **Senior Accountant** to join our client's Finance and Accounting Team in the **Mexico**.**Pay Rate : $10 to $12 per hour****Key Responsibilities**- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording daily transactions.- Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with Company financial policies and procedures.- Assist with month-end closing activities including preparing month end reconciliations, bank reconciliations and recording general journals.- Partner with operations on ad-hoc accounting and business projects.- Review bills and invoices sent by vendors and departmental partners for payment, review for discrepancies and resolve vendor billing issues ensuring that they are properly coded and approved in accordance with Company guidelines.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.- 2-4 years of relevant experience. **Public accounting experience and CPA required.**:- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.- Hands-on experience in accounting software especially Sage Intacct or Netsuite.- Independent, scrappy and proactive- Attention to detail.**About 1840 & Company**:1840 & Company is a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and remote talent solutions, dedicated to propelling businesses forward through our comprehensive suite of services.
