Echoing its name, a combination of the Sanskrit-derived words for ‘peace’ and ‘water,’ Amanvari rests in harmony with its exclusive yet inspiring setting, an exclusive 1,000-acre community just one hour from Los Cabos International airport.**Role****Responsibilities**- Develop and manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing or receiving.- Implement new or improved processes and logistics from the purchasing/ordering process through to timely and efficient distribution.- Ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate spoilage, waste, and excess inventory.- Ensure the cost of goods and inventory is tracked and analysed to provide recommendations that achieve maximum profitability.- Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.- Recommend and implement cost control measures.- Key point of contact with supply vendors. Manage contract agreements and monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.- Create and maintain a current supplier catalogue library and any other information relating to purchasing and supply management.- Manage the in/out traffic, customs, storage, exchange rates, duties and insurance requirements, considering government regulations.- Ensures accurate administration of all invoices and adheres to proper bookkeeping procedures.**Requirements**:- Combined five (5) or more years’ experience in Purchasing and Purchasing Management.- A college/university degree in business or hospitality is preferred.- History of proven leadership skills and ability to manage with energy, positivity, kindness, and respect.- Strong knowledge of and ability to use various software, including procurement solutions (Birchstreet), accounting software and MS Office is required.- Proven ability to perform fiscal and managerial duties that include maintaining accurate, confidential, and auditable records.**Benefits**At Aman Group, we believe that our colleagues are at the core of our success.
