You will work closely with internal teams, local municipalities, and regulatory authorities to ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained efficiently and in a timely manner.**Responsibilities**:- Permit Acquisition: Research, identify, and obtain all required permits and approvals necessary for new residential construction projects. These may include building permits, environmental permits, zoning permits, and any other applicable permits.- Compliance Verification: Ensure that all construction plans and documents comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning ordinances.- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all permit-related matters with local government agencies, building departments, and other relevant authorities. Communicate with these entities to expedite the permit approval process and address any inquiries or concerns that may arise.- Problem Solving: Identify and address any potential issues or challenges in the permitting process, finding effective solutions to ensure project timelines are not compromised.- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure they have the necessary information to comply with permit requirements.- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all permit-related documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in building codes, regulations, and permitting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.**Qualifications**:- Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships- Strong experience in delivering high quality customer service programs- High school degree or equivalent requiredPay: $85.99 - $154.78 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: Remote
