**Specific job responsibilities include but not limited to**:Ensure common process and consistent execution of the virtual/physical toolsAct as the technical expert at the vehicle level for assigned domain areas (including Safety)Lead lessons learned for domain areaOwn initiatives to address Safety, Quality or Warranty concernsSupport Platform new feature developmentSupport program specific new feature developmentCompetitive BenchmarkingVoice of Customer Clinics**Basic Qualifications**:Bachelors of Science Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university5 years of automotive experienceGood communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audienceStrong Automotive Systems BackgroundStrong Background in Engineering Product DevelopmentKnowledge with FMEA, FTA, HARAExperience with Safety plan, Safety Case, Safety ManagementKnowledge in Writing Safety Requirements at all LevelsAbility to interpret various regulatory requirements and Industry Best practices**Preferred Qualifications**:Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited universityKnowledge of IBM doors and ANSYS Medini Analyze or similar ALM/PLM management toolsExperience with embedded software developmentExperience with Systems EngineeringExperience with system network topology diagramsBackground of Managing Safety plan, Assessment, Audit experienceSystem Safety BackgroundActed as Functional Safety Manager for at least 1 project.Able to Understand Problem from all aspects (Software, Hardware, Field)Our benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
