If you are willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Faurecia is the place to be**Forvia - Faurecia’s VIE Program?**The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the worldPLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.**Your position and environment?**Our **Faurecia Automotive Seating - North America Seating Division** is looking for you as a **VIE - Productivity Buyer **M/F for our site in** San Luis Potosí, México.****Your role and responsibilities?**Your main missions will be to:- Manage the supply panel and lead ideas and initiatives in order to improve the global productivity.- Improve financial performance of the Regional Business Unit (RBU) through supplier negotiations, resourcing, and **productivity** actions.- Manage day to day performance of supply base for Quality, Cost and Delivery.Main Duties/Activities- Supports the Program Buyers with sourcing of new segments.- Pursues the most economical costs for goods/services required, in conjunction with obtaining continual long-term agreement savings opportunities.- Performs continual review and evaluation of the current supply base and new potential suppliers through cross-functional supplier audits/visits based on the criteria provided by Group.- Facilitate continuous improvement activities with the supply base to support VA/VE savings opportunities.- ECR/EO activity - obtain quotes for engineering changes and negotiate accordingly- Other duties and specific projects assigned. VA/VE workshops- Progress savings from inception through to completion.- Report monthly saving activity and hold management meetings with poor performing suppliers.- Secure supplier capacity and manage supplier´s tool life.Specific Responsibilities:- Identify savings. Add to forecast file and progress through to completion. Take ownership and responsibility for actions under buyer lead activity.- Identify savings at month end and cross match against productivity file to confirm completion.- Report savings each month to Manager and confirm with Controller that they are captured.- Charge Back validation costs via QSS database for poor quality and delivery performance.- Calculate retro’s for late identified savings and ensure they are captured at month end.- Where suppliers have consecutive months of mis-shipments, hold management reviews with supplier senior management to ensure improvement.- Interface between department and plant or Commercial Business Unit.- Raise PO Approval form for any changes required to PO’s.- In event of supplier disruption to plant (quality or delivery) resolve if a critical or recurrent issue.- Monitors of the Supplier Global Performance Measurement in terms of quality and service of the cost via the SBG reporting structures- Follows market trends for specific commodities and raw materials- Prepares and deploys Commodity Strategies & Cost Models for various commoditiesThe mission will last **12 months**.**Who are you?**- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business.- _ Nice to have: Specialization in international purchasing or supply chain_- Previous experience in purchasing or sales within industry environment.- _ Nice to have: Automotive experience would be an advantage_Skills and competencies:- Knowledge of productivity / lean management methodology- Knowledge of production, quality and logistics- Fluent English / Desirible spanish- Ability to work in matrix organization- Good communication and interpersonal skills
