At Astra Zeneca, we’re dedicated to being a Great Place to workThe Data Steward is responsible for managing the data quality within CRM and MDM including, routine reporting, DCR queue, data standardization, research, cleansing, and de-duplication and establishing quality expectations and enforcing standards and best practices.**Accountabilities**- The Data Steward is responsible for manually updating the attributes of Alexion managed records to improve core data, such as reaching to users to get proof and updating provider affiliation information via DCR.- Manage Customer Data Change Requests- Ensure timeliness and alignment to standard operating procedures- Ad-Hoc Data Analysis and Data Extracts- Assure that new data elements are not duplications of existing core data elements- Accurate listing of newly applied data elements to the core database records- Removal of incorrect data elements and database records from core databases- Documentation of actions taken and required notation- Audit the data quality of peers (other Data Stewards)- Coordinate via Service Requests for tasks required in MDM and CRM to be done by IT teams.- Maintain CRM and MDM aligned in Customer Data: Monitor the flow of data between MDM, CRM and other databases for accuracy and data quality.- Process GDPR related requests (opt-outs from Open Data, opt-outs from Alexion)- Enter and validate accounts, professionals and other client information considering CRM transactions: Calls, Consent, Events attendance.- Report progress to direct line manager- Develop, implement, and maintain data quality processes, training, and reference materials- Follow data quality rules and processes to remove duplicate data, cleanse inaccurate data, standardize data entries, and schedule data analysis reports.- Perform daily CRM/MDM maintenance and project-based tasks, including resolving data issues, running data quality searches taking additional external research steps as needed.- Plan the priority areas of improvement and selected any tools needed to support data quality programs (e.g. reporting) and develop a cadence of regular database maintenance.- Be part of initiatives to begin to automate recurring data quality tasks and streamline/standardize dimensions needed for reporting and analysis.**Requirements**:- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Solid understanding on databases and database concepts, SQL, analytical tools- Familiarity with MS Office Tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint- Document processes and adhere to standard operating procedures and processes- Basic project management skills and be detail oriented- Capable of managing multiple projects/requests simultaneously- Work in teams, Collaborate and ensure Compliance- Basic to limited exposure to issue/ticket management and/or tracking tools (ex: JIRA, ServiceNow)**Desirable**- Exposure to MDM tools and systems - Informatica, Veeva- Familiarity with tools like QLIK, PowerBI, Snowflake- Industry Data knowledge - OneKey, Veeva Open Data, Definitive Health Care data, Payer Data etc.**Expectation of working in the office 3 days a week statement**When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we ignite ambitious thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
