**Location**:Reynosa Tamaulipas, MX, 88710**Business Unit**:Engineered Medical Components**Posting Date**:Sep 24, 2024- The Engineering Manager has overall responsibility to develop strategies, manage budgets, and ensure successful project execution, ensuring department goals and objectives are met. Manages fiscal responsibility for entire department. Identifies and drives policies and procedures changes that maximize departmental operating performance. Has in-depth understanding of the overall organization and interacts with all levels of management. Identifies technical issues of future importance. Works closely with Sales, Quality, Applications and Manufacturing department to develop and introduce new products, as well as improve existing products.- Position Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least 5 years of experience managing engineers’ team is required.- Effective communication, interaction, and cooperation skills with manufacturing, sales, other personnel, as well as customers and suppliers.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be self-managed, give and receive critical feedback, and possess the desire to “win as a team”.- Broad engineering abilities and understanding of electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing and industrial engineering disciplines.- A working knowledge of SolidWorks, and/or ProE.- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and develop engineering talent, manage the departmental budget, successfully develop products, and drive good documentation and revision control practices.- Develop annual capital plans and execute the projects on time within budget- Laser processing experience is beneficial.- Medical/FDA experience/knowledge beneficial.- Proven experience in similar position-- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Experience with process validation and qualification- Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Ability to travel internationally as needed.- Strong leadership and team-building skills.- **Responsibilities**:Owns new product development and introduction process.Drives an integrated approach to product designs and manufacturing processes to ensure smooth transition to manufacturing.Reviews project status and actively drives good project management practices.Balances customer expectations and wants and business capabilities.Helps guide new product and process research and development.Helps manage and provides guidance to customer focus teams.Strong sense of urgency and maturity responseAMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
