As Hardware Board Design Engineer Intern your responsibilities are oriented to participating in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.**Responsibilities include**:- Prepare specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.- Develop procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.- Initiate, guide, and coordinate overall design and development of new ideas and products.- Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.**Qualifications**Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.**Minimum Qualifications**:- Intermediate English communication skills.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Knowledge on Computer Architecture.- Experience with Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.- Programming skills in Python and scripting.- Intel Server architectures knowledge.- Digital Design knowledge (VHDL/Verilog).**Inside this Business Group**The Data Center & Artificial Intelligence Group (DCAI) is at the heart of Intel’s transformation from a PC company to a company that runs the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.
