Together, we create impact and drive success About the role: The Inventory & Costing Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate cost visibility and supporting strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing product costing methodologies, enabling precise margin analysis and financial insight. The analyst works closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive cost discipline, optimize profitability, and support business growth. What You'll Do: Cost Accounting & Product Costing: Design, maintain, and continuously improve WAC-based product cost models , ensuring accurate cost flows across BOMs, routings, labor, and overhead absorption. Ensure the integrity of perpetual weighted average costing , leading timely cost recalculations for receipts, returns, and inventory adjustments. Conduct in-depth variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead), translating cost drivers into clear, actionable insights for operations and leadership. Inventory Management & Compliance: Lead inventory valuation , reserve analysis, and cost adjustments to ensure accurate financial representation. Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems. Act as a key partner for internal and external audits , delivering robust cost documentation and clear process explanations. Collaborate closely with plant leadership to analyze cost drivers, production efficiency, scrap, and yield , supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Strengthen and maintain internal controls related to costing and inventory governance. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes through detailed cost assumptions, margin analysis, and manufacturing KPIs. Partner in monthly close activities , ensuring accurate reporting of inventory, COGS, and variances. Develop and present monthly cost analysis packages, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations to support informed decision-making. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business , or a related field, providing a strong foundation in financial and cost analysis. 5–10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting and manufacturing finance within complex operational environments. Deep expertise in cost accounting principles , with hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial settings. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms. Strong command of Excel and financial modeling , with experience leveraging BI and reporting tools to drive insights. Highly analytical and detail-oriented mindset , ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial data. Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable messages. Results-driven and proactive professional , thriving in fast-paced, operationally focused environments.
