At Cognizant, we promote an inclusive culture that values different perspectives providing career growth and development opportunities. **#WelcomeToCognizant****Job Summary****Responsibilities**- Lead the administration and maintenance of Linux systems including RHEL SLES and OEL to ensure optimal performance and reliability.- Oversee the implementation and management of IBM AIX systems to support business operations.- Provide expertise in Shell scripting to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions for the Payer domain.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure mínimal downtime and maximum availability.- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and processes.- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.- Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.- Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system performance.- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and implement new solutions.- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for system administration and management.**Qualifications**- **Must have strong experience in Linux Admin (RHEL/SLES/OEL) to manage and optimize system performance.**:- **Must have expertise in Shell scripting to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.**:- **Must have experience in IBM AIX Admin to support and maintain AIX systems.**:- **Must have domain experience in Payer to understand and address industry-specific requirements.**:- Nice to have experience in hybrid work models to effectively manage both remote and on-site tasks.- Nice to have strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve system issues.- Nice to have excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.- Nice to have experience in documenting system configurations and procedures for future reference.- Nice to have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members to build a strong team.- Nice to have knowledge of security policies and procedures to ensure system integrity.- Nice to have experience in system upgrades and migrations to keep systems up-to-date.- Nice to have the ability to stay updated with industry trends to continuously improve systems.- Nice to have experience in coordinating with vendors and external partners for technical support.**Why Cognizant?**Improve your career in one of the largest and fastest-growing IT services providers worldwideReceive ongoing support and funding with training and development plansHave a highly competitive benefits and salary packageGet the opportunity to work for leading global companiesWe are committed to respecting human rights and building a better future by helping your minds and the environmentWe invest in people and their well-being.We build conditions for everyone to thrive.
