Actively contribute to the definition of the strategy of the Bimbo Account. Lead innovation and differentiation and manage an ambitious Innovation Pipeline of the Bimbo Account. Provide technical support and interaction with Bimbo, countries’ business development teams, to grow the collaboration & research with Puratos Business Units. Collaborate closely with BU Product Managers, Regional R&D and R&D managers in countries.What you will do- Manages product innovation for the category.- Oversees the development of new products within their range.- Supports the development of products for industrial clients and supermarkets; identifies new business opportunities with the KAM (Key Account Manager).- Supports the launch of new products.- Supports production in scaling up new products and follows up on quality issues.- Technical administration = product technical specifications.- Maintains optimal formulation in terms of performance/cost.- Provides technical support and training to the sales and marketing team.- Coordinates baking tests in the laboratory.- Ensures confidentiality of formulas and protection of knowledge, in accordance with Group rules.- Responsible for informing personnel with authority to take corrective actions about food safety issues.What Puratos expects from you- Preferred degree: Degree in Food Engineering, QFB (Pharmaceutical Biologist Chemist), LQA (Food Quality Laboratory) or related field.- 5 to 10 years of experience in the food industry, with project management and technical knowledge of formulas and technology.- Experience in R&D, incl. relevant experience in Innovation management- Passionate about innovation and food- Good communication, planning and organization skills.- Pragmatic and result oriented- Language skills: advanced English- Travelling involved: up to 20%- Availability to visit clients 35% of the time.What you can expect from Puratos- Competitive salary, bonus and benefits.- Rewarding career and growth potential worldwide- Challenges in an excellent international company- Fast pace and dynamic working environment- Continuous training in management and business principles- Be an integral part of a successful global companyWe, at Puratos, cultivate an inclusive global workplace, that fully embraces diversity and equal opportunities for all.
