Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for technical advisory, building solutions, guiding our global colleagues in FLSmidth on how to work smarter and more efficiently use of the strategic cloud platforms with focus on how to connect.Reporting to the Head of Network Center of Excellence, you will join a team of +5 dedicated colleagues working within areas such as Global Network connectivity services, Datacenter & migration- services, Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Governance and Hybrid Cloud Automation & Security.We know you have a life outside of work which is why we offer a range of benefits that allow you to plan your life accordingly. We therefore endeavor to promote a lifestyle that meets your individual needs while also enabling you to be fully engaged at work.**Responsibilities**:- Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to define strategies, points of view, roadmaps, workflows, reference architectures, and other deliverables to support technology selection, implementation, integration, and management- Responsible for architecting and thoroughly documenting solutions for each of the functional areas within their respective domain(s) or business horizontal(s)- Responsible for understanding dependencies between technology platforms and product(s) required to deliver a specified business solution- Collaborate with partners inside and outside IT and across business communities in assessing technology requirements and identifying potential technology solutions, always assessing existing technology investments as a first step-- Work with Ascension Technologies teams to decompose requirements and identify impacted teams in alignment with agile processes-- Solutions implementation, you’ll get your hands dirty.- Provide a handover from design and implementation to operations.What you bring- Bachelor's Degree in IT field, or equivalent experience- 5 years of experience in the networking field- Preferred experience in network design architecture acting as solution architect- Hands on experience to implement solutions and changes, provide troubleshooting assistance if needed.- Understand the importance of documenting solutions and designs.- Deep understanding of network fundamentals like ARP, spanning-tree, switching, routing, NAT, VRFs, and firewall- Experience with SDWAN design and implementation.- Experience scripting using python is a plus.- Cloud network experience is a must- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken- Agile experience preferred (at scale)- Network certifications is a plusWhat we offer- Benefit package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance.- Food Cards- Savings Fund 13%, Maximum Cap Amount determined by law.- Christmas Bonus 30 days.- Vacation Premium Bonus 35%- Hybrid work- A global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunities.FLSmidth is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining and cement industries - for more information please visit
