Materials Planning Analyst Ii

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.**What your background should look like**:Responsabilities:- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations- Schedule shift according to production needs- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)- Prepare and submit status and performance reports- Keep paperwork organized- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff**Requirements**:- 2 or 3 years on a similar position- Advanced english- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems- Good at math and statistics- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication abilities**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
