Our team, trajectory, and methodology combined with current market conditions put us in the perfect position to capitalize on this huge opportunity.**The Position: Operations Manager**As our Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful post-merger integration between the Property Management company we acquired and Angel Host. You will also be instrumental in helping deliver our market consolidation goals in Mexico. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Overseeing the day to day operations;- Monitoring goals and key performance indicators that track integration progress, operational efficiencies, homeowner/guest satisfaction, and growth initiatives;- Ensuring the implementation and compliance with the daily quality process of Angel Host policies and procedures;- Establishing and implementing various employee coaching and training initiatives to optimize their capabilities;- Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass company goals and ensure homeowner retention;- Leads departments heads ( Hskp, Maintenance and Guest service /concierge ) to ensure overall profit, service, and team member satisfaction goals are met or exceeded;- Speaking with and responding to guests and owners regarding service and operational challenges if necessary, consulting with owners if needed;- Reviewing and approving operational expenses, quotes and budgets as required;- Ensuring employee buy-in and adoption to the new technologies and processes;- Hiring, supervising, coaching, disciplining, and conducting performance evaluations for department heads and key personnel;- Developing the skills and abilities of direct reports;- Monitoring high potential department heads and team member activity and ensuring their growth within the company.**Is this job for you? Well, it is if you**:- Have a BSc/BA degree in Tourism or a relevant field;- Have a proven track record of achieving operational excellence as an Operations Manager or Rooms Division Manager;- Have Hospitality and/or Short-Term Rental management experience;- Have demonstrable competence in strategic planning and execution;- Have working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics and KPIs;- Have outstanding organizational, managerial, and leadership abilities;- Have excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills;- Have the ability to manage extensive amounts of information and provide constructive feedback/direction;- Have considerable ability to listen effectively;- Have the ability to work effectively both independently and as a team;- Have the ability to delegate, manage and organize projects and establish priorities consistent with company objectives;- Have the ability to effectively deal with owners, customers, and team members, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy;- Have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet and work effectively under time and resource constraints;- Have a vehicle and you are comfortable driving from one part of the city to the other as needed (ex: Playa del Carmen, Playacar, Corasol, etc)- Are a great decision-maker and problem-solver;- Are based in Playa del Carmen or Tulum;- Have a very strong English and Spanish both written and spoken: You must know how to be concise yet professional;- Have a strong initiative: you’re not the type of person that waits for someone to tell you what needs to
