This systems is designed to deliver anti-lock braking, stability control, regenerative braking, electric brake boost, and support Driver Assistance features.- Design and release brake control modules and brackets - fully own all deliverables associated with your components- Guide supplier partners through the Ford Global Product Development System (GPDS) process- Perform Failure Mode Avoidance and Functional Safety analyses to examine potential failure modes and design suitable prevention strategies- Work with software team, as a matched pair, to deliver brake control systems and emerging new technologies- Work with chassis controls foundation team to establish requirements for advanced brake control systems and emerging new technologies- Work with other functional areas within Ford (Electrical, Powertrain, and Vehicle Program teams) to ensure that all vehicle interfaces are defined and supported- Support vehicle testing, rig testing, and Hardware-In-the-Loop simulations to demonstrate system functionality- Manage system quality, cost and timing to ensure high quality program deliverablesWHAT YOU’LL NEED:- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related degree- High English proficiency (reading, writing and speaking)- Experiences in functional engineering desirable, preferably Chassis or Automotive related work experience (Ford, OEM, Supplier)**Preferred Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering- Min 2 years design or development experience in chassis or powertrain controls- Experience with FMEA and related quality assurance processes- Experience with Quality Metrics and Analysis Tools- Experience with Total Value Management (TVM) and Material Cost Reductions- Familiarity with vehicle network communication (CAN)- Self-starter who can learn to use new tools and find solutions - ability to troubleshoot & fix vehicle problems- Outstanding leadership and communication skills- Experience in supplier management and cost negotiation- Motivation to bring new technologies from concept to production in a short time period- Familiarity with digital and analog data acquisition systems- Awareness of, or experience with ISO 26262- Experience with complex system analysis tools & methods- Experience with controls modeling (e.g. in Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow, SysML) desired- Experience with HIL simulation and testing desiredCOMPANY DESCRIPTION:DISCLAIMER:Ford Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed with a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability.**Id. de solicitud asignado automáticamente**58300BR**Nível Idioma Inglés**Avanzado**Disponibilidad para viajar**SI**Rotación de turnos**No**Frecuencia de viajes**1-2 por mes**Tipo de Contratación**GSR
