As a Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing area needs of producing electronics and automotive products. Is needed implements and execute Materials Control strategies. Negotiates and Contracts the purchase of raw materials and/or other unprocessed goods, machinery, equipment, tools, parts, other supplies and services necessary for the operation of the Organization. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager/Supervisor, you will make sure objectives, metrics and goals get accomplished to reach area targets.

The hours for this role will be predominantly first shift work. Flexibility to fit production requirements will be necessary.

Your responsibilities

will include:- Manages the Purchase Orders by Planning Material Requirements, Executing the Action Plans that are suggested. (Releasing Purchasing Orders, Expediting, Pushing or Canceling).- Purchases Products and/or Services in Mexico, the United States and other Countries.- Reviews requisitions, as well as bids, interviewing vendors to obtain information concerning products and services, prices, guarantees and delivery dates.- Maintains the Material Requirement Plans by means of the On time Update of Records of every Part Number under their Responsibility in the MRP software currently used by the Company.- To report to the Team Leader / Production Supervisor any safety or production related problems.- Ensure plant hygiene and housekeeping is always maintained.- Adhere to proper Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and company production guidelines and report any problems with documentation.- All other reasonable tasks as may be requested by the assign Leader and/or the Production Manager.- Knowledge and experience of supply chain management system VMI/CMI/ERP management, Cost Negotiations and Inventory activity control Strategy development focus to material procurement system.- 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment- Ability to create a culture of continuous improvement.- Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing experience required.- A desire to continually learn and grow supported by direct action.- Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization and suppliers top management.- Strategy Ability to avoid material shortage through leveling of master schedule and demand administration on MRP.- Ability to align and synchronized material arrival ETAs with production plan for at least 3 months.- Managing budgets and payments based on company needs.- Focus to solve any problem that is affecting our delivery with customer and factory profitability.- Manage and Control any PO issued with suppliers.- Willing to accept any challenge and stability to grow up with our company. Education Requirement:- Bachelor’s Degree in International business, Industrial Engineering or related.- Intermediate Excel skills- Knowledge of MRP a Plus- Knowledge of material procurement system- Team work- Advanced EnglishTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminado
