Our employees thrive here by living our values: we support each other as we strive to find a better way, we move fast with discipline and purpose, and we do the right thing always.Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job SummaryThe HR Advisor reports to HR Manager located in MX Guadalajara NorthHuman Resource Strategy- Serves as an internal consultant to hiring managers, advising them on compensation and benefit options, legislative changes, current trends in human resources management, etc.- Advise site management in personnel policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions- Establish or recommend changes to polices which affect operations- Participates as an active member on site and corporate projects, teams and process improvement.- Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.Staffing- Confers with management to identify current and future personnel needs.- Develops recruitment programs, budgets and collateral, such as brochures about the organization and its opportunities to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.- Verifies references and background checks on exempt and non-exempt applicants.- Makes public presentations at schools, organizations and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities. Coordinates participation in, sets up display and works at job fairs.- Produces Human Resources related reports as requested by Business Unit Managers.Employee Relations- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.- Maintains positive working relationships with employees and managers.- Counsels management on policy interpretation and legal awareness. Advises and investigates (when applicable) in regard to the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Assists in the administration of the disciplinary procedure.- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.- Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.- Develops materials advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation and benefits. Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.- Maintains up-to-date knowledge in current employment laws and practices.- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.- Develops and maintains contacts with community organizations representing minority and protected class population and interests.- Prepares the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other department in the organization.Compensation- Administers performance review and salary programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.- Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.- Recommends, costs, implements and maintains the company's base and variable compensation programs at all levels, including sales personnel and executives.- Provides guidance to managers on compensation plan design and administration, and participates in market surveys and evaluates jobs.- Supports career mapping programs.- Develops and supports employee recognition programs- Reviews and approves job descriptions identifying job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills as deemed necessary.- Administers company stock programs**Benefits**:- Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacations, sick leave, leave of absence and employee assistance.- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations and employee statistics for government reporting.- Plans, develops and designs communication vehicles to inform employees about benefit packages and plans.- Plans, assesses, develops and/or redesigns and administers the company's benefits programs.- Analyzes costs, explains and implements plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements for manager and employees.- Acts as liaison to consultants, vendors, service providers and outside legal/audit staffs.- May coordinate benefit program start-up at other North America sites, monitoring sites' benefits performance and administration.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary- Life & Medical Insurance- Christmas Bonus- Food Coupo
