Modality: Hybrid 2 days in office or as required for business needs.

Schedule: Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon - Fri (1 hour lunch)

Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator

The Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator will partner with business leaders to influence the design and execution of the business strategy by providing consultative support and leadership. S/He will build relationships with management and can anticipate needs and proactively recommend solutions.

Human Resources Responsibilities

• Manage the full process of onboarding new hires and terminated employees.

• Manage matters related to the employment contract and internal labor policies of employees.

• Manage notices of internal movements such as department changes, shifts, personal permits,vacations, reprimands, salary, etc.

• Support the Sr HR Manager and HR Manager in the implementation of HR policies and procedures according to the company policies.

• Ensure full compliance with the Code of Conduct and internal policies and regulations.

• Consults with senior leaders to develop and execute business strategies to build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

• Creates an exceptional employee experience by developing and maintaining good job strategies and practices.

• Key member of the HR community works to stay abreast of current HR trends, best practices, and labor laws.

• Responsible for salary analysis of current staff and offers to new hires, advise of new recruitment strategies related to compensation & benefits.

• Drives for high performance work environment that makes the organization a great place to work and delivers results.

• Responsible for leading, coaching and developing the site Managers in support of overall Human Resources and business strategy.

• Other responsibilities related to Human Resources.

Payroll Responsibilities

• Responsible for the calculation of earnings/deductions and PTU, applying and analyzing incidents, local taxes, reviewing and updating personnel data.

• Review and verify pre-payroll.

• Manage employee balance and accrual for time off.

• Verification of all employees in Infonavit and SUA discounts, among others (i.e IMSS, Fonacot, loan discounts).

• Create Payroll reports as needed.

• Other responsibilities related to Payroll

Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or similar.
  • 5+ years of successful HR/Payroll Coordinator experience.
  • Advance proficiency in English and Spanish (75% and above)
  • Intermediate knowledge of excel necessary
  • Willing to learn and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Solid Business Acumen
  • Leadership Impact skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability & dealing with ambiguity.
