Uweport is seeking a highly motivated Customs Agent Management Specialist to support our cross-border logistics operations. This role works closely with Mexican customs brokers to prepare and manage customs clearance documentation and ensure smooth import/export processes. The ideal candidate has strong experience in customs procedures, HS code classification, and broker communication, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced international logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review customs clearance documentation for import and export shipments. Coordinate and communicate with Mexican customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely clearance. Manage and track customs processes, requirements, and shipment status. Assist with HS code (Harmonized System) classification for consumer and industrial products to obtain duty rate for variety of commodities. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new customs brokers for various projects as needed. Resolve customs clearance issues and proactively follow up on delays or discrepancies. Maintain organized records of all customs documentation. Stay updated on Mexican customs regulations and compliance requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience working with customs brokers and customs documentation. Strong understanding of Mexican customs clearance procedures and regulations. Proven experience with HS code classification for consumer and industrial products. Fluent dual language in Spanish and English Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills.
