Overview

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan including PR, social-media and other marketing communications channels to support the business objectives of the hotel
  • Deploy a creative content strategy across multiple owned and earned channels.
  • Manage image and reputation management.
  • Work closely with operational departments on marketing and promotions.

BASIC PURPOSE:

The Marketing Executive will develop, generate, and execute awareness of Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, through strategic PR & marketing campaigns and projects, web and mobile presence to include digital campaigns, social media channels, mobile app and proprietary websites.

Master Your Craft:

The Marketing Executive supports and has a direct reporting line to the Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo’s Director Digital Marcom & PR for the Resort’s PR & marketing strategies and projects.

PR

  • Responsible for supporting the Director of Marcoms in the PR strategy for the Americans, Mexican and international media.
  • Responsible for the coordination and hosting of the programed fam trips and media visits on property.
  • Is proactive and creative in identifying and developing integrated PR and Social Media programs which capitalize on unique and newsworthy stories as well as leveraging unexpected opportunities as they arise. Working closely with the onsite team to uncover these stories.
  • Support in the development of niche PR strategy specific to USP for Tamarindo- design, culinary & nature.
  • Management of PR related expenses/budget.

Content Creation

  • Coordination and support in the management of upcoming photo and video shoots.
  • Create a cohesive team between operations and marketing to ensure the shoots are successful.
  • Working closely in the coordination with the Photographer in Residence program to support on talent.
  • Management and coordination of the existing content on behalf of the resort.
  • Coordination of the “TMR content creation” team with the social media agency.
  • Work with the relevant departments to create compelling content to support the creation of Tamarindo as a destination to include activities and discovery center.
  • Following and implementing brand photo guidelines, best practices on content creation.

Collateral

  • Management and coordination of required collateral project to include hotel, marketing, F&B & Spa scope.
  • Coordination and support on the “Tamarindo Orange” unique color project.
  • Ongoing management of all marketing collateral projects.
  • Creation and coordination of the sales presentations and supporting sales tools required.
  • Creation and support on PowerPoint presentations for the Marketing team as required.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite for in house editing and design requirements.

Website

  • Ensures the hotel’s web content and App presence is aligned with the Hotel’s positioning and business objectives and where possible links to other FS content channels.
  • Responsibility for the ongoing updating of Website, TV, Apps to ensure our content is always engaging and relevant.
