Your Part in It:
Working from Monterrey, MX we are looking for our next Carrier Sales Representative. As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our carrier base to provide the most cost-effective, high-level service for our customers.
CARRIER SALES REPRESENTATIVE
What the Job Entails:
- Develop relationships with new carriers
- Manage relationships with current carriers to provide excellent service to our existing customers
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers depending on current market rates
- Communicate load details and shipment parameters to carrier dispatch and drivers throughout the lifespan of the shipment
- Monitor progress of shipments on a daily basis to ensure coverage, on-time performance and addressing any mid-transit issues
- Communicate load statuses, issues and concerns to sales representatives
- Meeting carriers face to face to maintain relationship
What We Are Looking For:
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
- 2+ years’ experience in the logistics industry
- No previous industry experience required
- College degree preferred
- Out-going, sales mentality
- Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Team-oriented while being self-motivated and hardworking
- Highly motivated to succeed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to remain persistent and positive
