Ciudad de México Stripe A tiempo completo
Who we are
About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

As Stripe’s user base and global footprint grows dramatically, we have distinctly unique support problems resulting from both our type of scale and the type of businesses we partner with. The Stripe Delivery Center (SDC) strategy will provide operational leverage and expand Stripe’s portfolio of operational capabilities to support the scaled needs for external users and internal Stripe teams.

What you’ll do

Stripe is launching Stripe Delivery Centers - a new global team to design, implement and grow Stripe’s operations for the next decade. We are looking for dynamic and curious people that have a passion for solving global user issues, building operations, driving process improvements and that want to play a front-line role in building this new operational capability for Stripe and accelerating Stripe’s growth.

In this role, you will lead a team of Operations Associates responsible for operationalizing the internal controls required for our revenue contracting processes. This is an important scope, including supporting deal approval frameworks, required tooling, and governance enforcement. You will be responsible for training and coaching the team operating approval management, and ensuring revenue contracts meet internal quality controls. Additionally, the team scope will include managing wallet approval workflow, complex deal review request triage, governance breach tracking and corrective measures, and other deal approval related processes. This role will be responsible for expanding scope, with additional functions supported over time.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a new team of in-office Operations Associates
  • Guide your team in completing deal approval workflows including support and management of approval matrices, use of standard operating procedures, and administration of approval tooling
  • Drive operational excellence, scaling the team to own diverse operational scope, including (but not limited to): case management, ad hoc reporting requests, data management, contract audits.
  • Drive strong operational delivery and process improvement helping to maintain quality control of custom fee schedules prior to release within internal service-level agreements or time-based deadlines
  • Resolve escalations, working with sales and cross-functional leadership directly
  • Identify gaps in current systems, policies and processes, and recommend enhancements and process improvements to mitigate revenue contracting risks
  • Provide guidance and coaching on how to effectively work with cross-functional stakeholders. Team will be working with product, sales teams, commercial legal, services/support teams, and cross-functional teams who are stakeholders to the deal approval and review process to ensure compliance with established governance controls.
  • Build a great culture and ensure team members are happy, effective, and growing in their career
  • Set clear goals and direction, and provide regular feedback on team members’ performance
  • Be data-driven in your analysis of performance, and in your decision making
