What you will do
Accountabilities
Collaborate to develop Access, and HE strategies to gain Access for Rare Diseases (RD) portfolio.
Facilitate collaboration for coverage and reimbursement decision-making.
Develop comprehensive flow of the patient journey in pathologies of RD.
Deliver HE/Access presentations to customers to improve access.
Support Access strategy, approach with relevant team members in coordination with medical and corporate, and government affairs.
Provide support to the medical and commercial teams in implementing Access strategy.
Develop and implement access and reimbursement strategy and coordinate XF Team (Medical, Marketing, Corp, Gov Affairs & Sales) to implement according to RD plan.
Responsibilities
Mapping decision processes and identify key decision makers (KDMs)
Build the reimbursement and patient journey to find opportunities in private and public markets.
Contribute to develop the local market access strategy during the life cycle of the RD products by working closely with XF Team to secure broad product access for Amgen new RD portfolio.
Implement and supervise an action plan for priority accounts in collaboration with XF Team.
Establish relationship with customers through appropriate communication of RD value stories.
Collaborate to develop business plans to address reimbursement and funding for RD portfolio.
Evaluate threats, opportunities and trends & implement important strategic planning processes considering the external environment and the effect of payer/health policy.
Lead development of strategic cross-functional engagement plans with external customers (payers and KOLs) and ensure partnerships.
Ensure processes of compliance.
Authority
Access Strategy RD portfolio across patient journey .
Customization of value proposition for different team members.
Organize collaboration to achieve access objectives.
Development of Account plans and implementation.
Inclusion of products in Institutional Formularies without restrictions.
High quality internal and external customer relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
High school diploma / GED 10 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
Proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication.
Preferred Requirements
Large experience working within the Mexican Health Care system (including submission to National Formulary)
Experience in communicating sophisticated issues to non-experts in Rare Diseases pathologies (ie. EOD)
Prior experience (>5 years) in RD sales representative and/or KAM role.
Consistent track record of introduction of new products in Government Health Institutions in RD.
Experience working in IMSS, ISSSTE, CCINSHAE and Bienestar.
