As a cross functional team of experts, we create and execute comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modeling activities. Your expertise and innovative approach will enhance the value of our medicines and the impact to patient outcomes.
What You Will Achieve
You will be part of Pfizer’s dynamic Market Access team and will manage the important role of creating and executing comprehensive Market Access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modeling activities. Through your expertise in this domain, you will develop an integrated approach for all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity (LOE). You will work collectively with payers, reimbursement influences and decision makers to ensure that continuously changing reimbursement systems remain fair to everyone. You will conduct strategic studies with the end consumer in mind and work with health economics and outcomes research to design pricing strategy. You will be proactive in maximizing market update by communicating with external stakeholders and discussing the value proposition of the therapeutic area drugs and medical devices.
As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.

How You Will Achieve It
Develop ideas, lead/co-lead complex projects across business units, develop and manage plans to achieve objectives. Develop and maintain the public and private payer value proposition. Translate customer insights into knowledge and expertise that will optimize product reimbursement plans. Lead cross-functional teams to develop market access priorities/strategies and ensure its successful execution. Deliver recommendations relating to price and access strategies, payer strategy, pricing and reimbursement, evidence generation, data collection and value proposition, taking into consideration market archetype and lifecycle considerations. Develop effective processes and ways of working to support collaboration with key internal stakeholder groups such as medical and health outcomes. Assist colleagues on any issues by providing advice or connecting with experts as appropriate. Work efficiently and collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment with cross functional teams.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor's Degree
7+ years’ experience
Demonstrated project leadership, managing workstreams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets
Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority
Understanding of marketing and financial working methods and measures
Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop recommendations for decision-making or action
Ability to partner and work as a team in a highly matrix environment
Strong command of English, spoken and written
Nice-to-Have
Master's degree
Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
