Purpose

We are looking for top performers with entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to play a key role in driving the growth of Envato’s Elements Enterprise product line. If you have a passion for account management and helping hire, train and manage exceptional account managers to enhance customer satisfaction and improve customer retention - then you might be the perfect fit for our Manager, Enterprise Accounts role

As a Lead Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading a growing team of Account Managers. The Account Management team is responsible for building relationships with our growing number of Enterprise Accounts. You will be well versed in software-as-a-service (SaaS) account management processes, tools and techniques for improving account retention, expanding existing account revenue, and managing account teams. Additionally, you will work closely with our sales and marketing operations teams to implement cutting-edge software tools that enhance the satisfaction of our customers.

We're bullish on the account management function being a key pillar within our Enterprise business unit. Enabling the account management team to improve execution and overall customer satisfaction and retention rates should motivate you Not to mention the chance to develop your people, promote from within and lead a quickly growing, high-performance account management organization.

To be successful in this role, you should have :

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience as a customer success/account management leader who can execute on business needs with 2+ years personal experience as an account manager or customer success representative and 1+ years in leadership, preferably in the SaaS industry
  • Track record of developing and coaching individuals to be future Stars in new roles (Account Manager, Customer Success Management, etc.)
  • Excellent abilities to manage at the ground level while also able to zoom out and define and execute on broader business initiatives.
  • Ability to leverage data to ensure that service levels and KPI’s are hit daily.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a high degree of drive, energy, and passion for sales
  • Proficiency in Account Management/Customer Success Tech Stack : Hubspot, Close.io , Mixmax, Salesforce, Guru/Highspot, Amplitude etc.
  • Experience building an account management program that involves multichannel approaches influenced heavily by input/output metrics like seat usage, DAUs/MAUs, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively with the ability to sustain a volume of activity every day
  • Phenomenal attention to detail
  • Excellent references (recent and relevant) from former team members, and cross-functional partners

What would I work on specifically?

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work side by side with AMs and coaching them how to improve customer retention
  • Consistently drive the business to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction and retention goals
  • Provide guidance on how to evolve the AM team for greater results, efficiency, and production
  • Implement account management and development best practices including metrics, quotas, activity, performance metrics, and measurements
  • Drive outbound account management activities resulting in improved customer retention and existing account expansion
  • Motivate AMs to learn and grow daily, to prepare them for their next role
  • Recommend tactics to drive initiatives and improve performance and productivity
  • Work with recruiting to hire the best individuals for the AM organization
  • Assist in the development and ongoing management of our AM onboarding process to drive maximum productivity for AMs
  • Responsible for relevant HR duties for all AM direct reports
