Order Fulfillment Subject Matter Expert & Customer Service Representative

Description:

This position is for a specialized role within the US Customer Operations Indirect team, catering to the US Market. It involves direct interaction with customers and partners. The main responsibilities include ensuring smooth order processing, managing backlogs efficiently, and supporting customer needs to contribute to HP's financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Process orders efficiently and accurately, meeting business and partner expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational issues with recurring customer accounts.
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled within service level agreements to provide excellent customer service.
  • Resolve operational issues throughout the supply chain process promptly, such as order status, returns, deliveries, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with different departments to address customer-related challenges effectively.
  • Optimize current processes by working with various teams within HP to enhance daily operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on internal processes and provide guidance to other functions.
  • Manage operational metrics efficiently to drive improvements.
  • Train and support junior staff members.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement and develop suitable recommendations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with the possibility of having an advanced degree.
  • Typically, 4-6 years of relevant experience in areas like supply chain management, customer service, procurement, or financial management.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, production, and delivery.
  • Familiarity with S4-SAP and Order To Cash processes.
  • Understanding of financial aspects related to supply chain operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data modeling.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language.
  • Strong relationship management abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, statistical analysis, and financial modeling proficiency.
  • Ability to use digital supply chain tools for analysis and improvement.
  • Effective project management skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Sound business acumen and technical expertise in the relevant field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HP's supply chain strategy.
  • Leadership skills in team building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills for clear message delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and collaboration capabilities.
  • Organizational skills to handle daily operational issues effectively.
  • Ability to make decisions based on limited information and communicate them appropriately.
