CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST NORTH AMERICA.
Customer Service includes resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and guiding product users to features and functionality. To perform this role successfully, you will need to be an excellent communicator who is able to earn the trust of our clients.
The Customer Care Specialist for North America is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and customers across the North American region. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a dedication to resolving customer issues promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service receives requests for product purchase, changes and cancellations directly from customers and sales force.
- Customer service maintain good customer/employee relations. Generally deals with sales force and customers concerning matters that require tact and resourcefulness. Additional contacts would include operations, lab, corporate staff, etc.
- Customer service use sap computer operating system to place orders, retrieve customer information, and monitor the status of orders and to make necessary changes or cancellations.
- Customer service handle the needs of sales representatives and customers.
- Customer service prepare forms for price quotations on items not contained in price list and forwards to appropriate person.
- Customer service check with accounts receivable representative concerning credit hold status of customer when orders are received.
- Customer service check sap system to locate appropriate warehouse for requested items in order to meet customer's delivery requirements.
- Customer service creates customer material information record (cmir)
- Customer service input and cancel a sales order
- General attend and complete all branch safety requirements
- General complete expense request in concur for personal reimbursement
- Purchasing assists in ordering graphic technician (gt) supplies
- Purchasing assists with po and invoice verification
Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Bilingual: Native Speaking (C-2)
- Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to help and support customers, coupled with patience and empathy.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop creative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer inquiries, orders, and documentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a similar industry or environment, is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and proficiency with software applications such as CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and online communication tools.
Education:
Associates degree or some college level courses preferred. Some travel may be required.
Experience:
This position requires at least 3-5 years of experience as a customer service representative role in manufacturing/ customer service office environment. This position will support the daily operations of the office pertaining to, but not limited to customer service and other routine office functions.
Knowledge:
· Exhibit knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment
· Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
· Ability to sit at a computer monitor and keyboard for an extended period of time
· Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
