We are looking for a Technical Events Engineer to join our LATCAR Marketing team. Reporting to the Application Engineering Team Leader, you will play a key role in conceiving, designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive technical marketing portfolio of Genetec solutions for trade shows, conferences, and Genetec Experience Centers.
What your day will look like:
- Oversee the technical preparations for key events and work with SME's in each product group to ensure Genetec's demos are technically sound and on-point with our latest innovations
- Responsible for pre-staging, shipping, and setup at major events and conferences
- Own all Experience Center-related activities including daily maintenance, and system upgrades and lead all customer visits as well as provide compelling demonstrations of our solutions
- Act as the technical lead during on site tradeshow and events setup
- Maintain inventory of all technical equipment required to showcase Genetec's strategy at tradeshows, conferences, and in the Experience Center(s)
- Collaborate with the Genetec field sales organization to ensure they are empowered to fully leverage and demonstrate Genetec solutions through various channels (tradeshows, conferences, 1:1 sales demo, Experience Center visits)
- Collaborate with our technology partner representatives to incorporate and highlight partner technologies, together with Genetec, to showcase total solutions
- Working closely with regional and corporate sales and marketing teams including the regional and corporate Events and Technical Engineering teams
- Work closely with the Corporate and Regional Events teams to ensure event program and execution alignment
- Spanish and English spoken and written, knowledge of Portuguese
- 5+ years relevant experience in Physical Security or Technology Sales
- Team player: high degree of networking capabilities to build buy in, and engage cross functionally with numerous departments to bring projects to life
- Significant technical experience and aptitude mixed with creative vision
- Strong communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills, can adapt style to varied internal and external audiences
- Both analytical and enthusiastic, with a can-do approach to tasks both big and small
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, deadline and results-oriented
- Able to work both as a part of a team and autonomously
- Ability to travel up to 50%, valid passport
- Networking skills (TCP/IP, configure network switches and routers, wireless)
- Experience in deploying software, operating systems and databases
- Creating and deploying images, working in virtualized environments

Reportando al Líder del Equipo de Ingeniería de Aplicaciones, desempeñará un papel clave en la concepción, el diseño, la implementación y la gestión de una cartera integral de marketing técnico de soluciones de Genetec para ferias comerciales, conferencias y Centros de Experiencia de Genetec.
Como será tu día a día:
- Supervisar los preparativos técnicos para eventos clave y trabajar con las PYMES en cada grupo de productos para garantizar que las demostraciones de Genetec sean técnicamente sólidas y estén en sintonía con nuestras últimas innovaciones. Como parte del equipo de Ingeniería Técnica de Eventos, será responsable de la preparación, el envío y la configuración en los principales eventos y conferencias
- Ser responsable de todas las actividades relacionadas con el Centro de Experiencia, incluido el mantenimiento diario, las actualizaciones del sistema y liderar todas las visitas a los clientes, así como proporcionar demostraciones convincentes de nuestras soluciones
- Actuar como líder técnico durante la preparación de ferias y eventos en el sitio

- 5+ años de experiencia relevante en Seguridad Física o Ventas de Tecnología
