Summary:
The USAID Office in Mission in Mexico is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for a Office Management Assistant position.

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week).

The period of performance is June 2024 to May 2029.

Duties:


The Office Management Assistant (OMA) to the Front Office serves as an assistant to the Mission Director (MD) and the Deputy Director (DMD) of the USAID Mission to Mexico, working in close collaboration with the DOC Specialist and de DOC Assistant within the USAID/Mexico Front Office.

the incumbent is the focal point for the flow of information and assignments to and from the Front Office.

The incumbent also assists the Front Office to manage key priorities and activities; coordinate actions from the Embassy Executive Office and assign them to USAID Mission staff in consultation with the MD and DMD; track tasking actions and ensure that they are completed by the due date; and draft and review communications in English and Spanish.


The OMA administers communication between the Front Offices and USAID staff, the Embassy Mexico interagency, the public, the domestic and international private sector, the Government of Mexico, and other development partners and stakeholders.

The OMA supports the Front Office on a variety of complex and sensitive program, operational, and logístical issues.

The OMA provides office operations support for USAID's programming and management processes within the Front Office and performs a critical liaison function to the Embassy Executive Office, section chiefs of USG interagency, senior GOM official, and executives of Mexicans an U.S.

private sector and civil society.

The incumbent assists with clearances and approvals of documents to and from the Mission Director or Deputy Mission Director and, in the process build strong partnership with the intra-mission and interagency contacts.

A high school degree and two years of studies in Business Administration, Executive Secretarial Management, or a related field.

Prior Work Experience:
Five years of progressively responsible experience performing executive level administrative or program support.
