Purpose of the job:
In the context of Tren Maya project, ALSTOM is offering high level of Maintenance Service of the Rolling Stock, Track systems (Signaling & Communication) and Maintenance facilities.
ALSTOM Core Model is based on a customized SAP database known as GSI (Global Single Instance), with an extension for end users available on tablets called SES (Service Execution System).
MAXIMO. The MMS key user provides support for all these solutions.
The MMS Key User makes sure that the Core Model (ERP processes) is correctly implemented and used, according to processes & rules, configuration and data.
His/her main activities are to lead data cleansing operations, to communicate on changes, to perform end-users & newcomers training on processes, business rules and tools.
The Key User has an extensive knowledge of current practices and new processes.Permanently in contact with the central team, he/she is the local process ambassador of his/her functional stream, and has a critical role when it comes to implementing new Core Model.

Job location:
The position is based in the maintenance facility of Cancún, QRoo.
Frequent trips to the other maintenance facilities of Yucatán peninsula, and occasionally to other Alstom or suppliers ́sites.
Job hours:
Usually during day shift Monday to Friday.
Team support can also require presence during night shift and/or week-ends, and availability during resting days for spot urgent requests.
Main responsibilities & activities
- Provide indepth knowledge on local business processes
- Confirm data scope, extraction, cleanse & prepare data according to plan, validate conversions & loads
- Test new functionalities and raise incidents or defects
- Communicate on changes to local management and endusers
- Adapt / create onsite training material and documentation
- Perform power users (if any) and endusers training
- Contribute to cutover plan elaboration and execute plan
- Confirm business roles with needed authorizations
- Ensure the appropriate support to endusers post Go Live
- Contribute to functional stream continuous improvement (provide counterparts with good practices )
Educational requirements:
Mandatory:
- Graduate degree or extensive experience in impacted stream such as engineering or supply chain
- English proficiency is able to use English on a daily basis for participation to meetings, reading and writing purposes.
