📍 Location: Mexico City (CDMX) 🏢 Company: JJ Associates 💼 Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role JJ Associates is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to lead client-facing engagements in Mexico. You’ll handle corporate law execution, governance, and compliance while managing relationships with clients, notaries, and government authorities. This role combines hands-on legal work with project coordination and client management to ensure engagements are delivered efficiently, compliant, and audit-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full corporate lifecycle for entities (S. de R.L., S.A.P.I., S.A. de C.V., S.A.S.).Draft and review bylaws, shareholders’ agreements, POAs, and corporate minutes.Coordinate filings with Notarios, RPC, Secretaría de Economía, and SAT.Draft and negotiate commercial contracts (MSAs, NDAs, service/supply, SaaS, etc.).Oversee compliance in privacy (LFPDPPP), AML (LFPIORPI), labor (LFT/REPSE), and IP (IMPI).Lead bilingual (Spanish/English) client meetings and manage CRM updates.Support cross-border projects (Panama, Brazil) and corporate restructurings.What We're Looking ForEducation: Licenciatura en Derecho with cédula profesional (required).Experience: 3–6+ years in corporate/business law (firm or in-house), including notarial and registry work.Languages: Spanish (native/near-native) and English (business).Strong drafting, negotiation, and project coordination skills.Knowledge of LFPIORPI, LFPDPPP/INAI, LFT, IMPI, and related procedures.Familiarity with cross-border structures or fintech, e-commerce, or real-estate sectors is a plus.Tools & SystemsGovernment portals: SAT, RPC, Secretaría de Economía, INAI, IMPI, PROFECO.Productivity tools: Google Workspace, CRM (HubSpot), Docusign, data rooms.Why Join JJ Associates Be part of a growing international legal and business advisory firm, working directly with global clients and senior partners.
