Off-site role.The Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to the E-commerce Manager to support daily operations, with an emphasis on accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent Excel skills, a knack for process creation and improvement, and a keen eye for accuracy. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining efficient back-end operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the E-commerce Manager in a variety of initiativesWhat You’ll Do:Accounting Support:Assist in financial recordkeeping and reconciliation of e-commerce transactions for the Merchant of Record Department.Track invoices, payments, and manage order and return records.Work with accounting software and spreadsheets to compile and verify monthly reports.Ensure accuracy in reporting and flag discrepancies proactively.Administrative Support:Maintain organized digital files and records for the e-commerce department.Assist with scheduling, reporting, and project follow-ups.Coordinate with brands, licensees and internal departments as needed.Process Management:Monitor task completion and suggest process improvements.Assist team where needed to keep projects moving.What You’ve Done:Proven experience in an administrative and/or accounting support role.Comfortability with Microsoft ExcelExperience working with e-commerce platforms and accounting tools (e.g., Shopify, Bill.com, ZIP, PayPal, etc.) is a plus.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow and develop structured processes.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.Nice to Haves: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.Experience with systems like Microsoft Dynamics, ZIP platform, Workday, or Microsoft Suite,Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (macros, dashboards, etc.).Background in e-commerce or retail operations.Experience in data entry and financial reconciliation.Familiarity with task/project management tools (e.g., Clickup)You’re detail-oriented and organized, with a passion for accuracy and compliance.Able to communicate in English clearly and effectively—both in writing and verbally.You’re reliable, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.You enjoy being part of a team and pitching wherever needed.
