Main Objective: will be responsible for development of the short and medium term strategy for the company's product categories and portfolio initiatives, ensuring the achievement of objectives in terms of volume, revenue, profitability and market share across sales channels. Responsibilities:Define, develop, and implement key initiatives to capitalize on critical opportunities/threats. Analyze commercial business results (sales, profit, profit margin, and distribution) to define necessary action plans. Define and monitor the marketing budget for assigned categories/products.
Develop the Annual Operating Plan in collaboration with relevant departments. Collaborate with internal clients (Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, etc.). Manage the brand category/lifecycle. Prevent product obsolescence through constant and proactive monitoring of potential risks to define timely actions that mitigate negative financial impacts on the categories.
Develop the pricing strategy. Develop annual marketing plans by channel/category/brand. Manage and coordinate all marketing resources and activities. Leading the marketing teamQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred; MBA or a Master’s degree in a related field is a plus10+ years' experience in marketing within the FMCG IndustryLeadership and Project ManagementDecision-Making and Calculated Risk-TakingStrategic and Creative ThinkingResults-OrientedStrong verbal and written communication skills, as well as public presentation abilitiesAnalytical skills that generate recommendations for future improvementsSolid knowledge of the Central American and Caribbean regions.
