As a UX researcher on our Mover Experience UX research team, you'll be in charge of driving research and design strategy to craft outstanding customer experiences. You'll provide our data-hungry team with significant customer insights and work with designers to evaluate experience outcomes. Our mission is to make Zillow the most-loved place to discover, buy, sell, or rent a home.
Apply appropriate research methods (qualitative and quantitative) to evaluate customer experiences and find opportunities to improve Zillow’s customer experiences
Synthesize and frame customer needs to guide product strategy and innovation
Advocate for customer needs throughout the design process and ensure they align with business initiatives
Lead research activities like user interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, diary studies, co-design sessions, concept evaluation, and usability testing
Present research insights and regularly engage with designers, product managers, data scientists, engineers, and other researchers
Contribute, learn, grow, and have fun
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Who you areA strong communicator
An excellent collaborator with experience partnering with other research practitioners
Creative and curious about exploring new research approaches, experimental methodologies, and tools
Have experience translating research findings into digital product improvements and describing why they matter to customers and business
Have experience presenting findings, engaging partners in research, and influencing them to take action
Have strong and growing product sense
2+ years performing UX research or similar role conducting primary research in an applied setting
Experience moderating remote/virtual qualitative research with research participants (e.g., interviews, usability testing)
Expertise in survey design
Expertise in descriptive and inferential statistics
Familiarity with data analysis using R or Python and familiarity with SQL
Proficient with data analysis using R, Python, or similar, and experience with SQL
