Purpose of Role

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in achieving store sales and KPI targets by embodying brand values and delivering a unique experience to athletes visiting Under Armour. This position reports to the Store Manager and involves carrying out regular tasks to support store operations. The Sales Associate may also take on the responsibilities of the Stock Specialist when needed.


Your Impact

Sales & Omni

  • Assist athletes directly to meet sales KPI targets established by the Retail Store Manager
  • Handle omni-channel requests following UA process and policy through a digital interface

Brand Image & Customer Experience

  • Exemplify the UA service culture and meet customer expectations
  • When assisting athletes, convey brand messages based on the UA Service Model
  • Integrate product knowledge into the sales process by participating in training sessions

Retail Operations

  • Maintain standards for merchandise and floor displays
  • Adhere to UA policies and procedures
  • Complete operational and cash handling tasks in accordance with training
  • Follow Under Armour's dress code and attendance guidelines
  • Work scheduled hours as per Under Armour's attendance policy

Team Collaboration/Self Growth

  • Collaborate with team members to reach store objectives
  • Take responsibility for self-improvement, seizing opportunities for growth to enhance performance

Qualifications
  • Foundational numeracy, literacy, listening, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in the local language
  • Good understanding of computers and other technologies
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Requirements
  • Experience of 0-3 months in a sports/apparel & footwear retail setting
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including holidays, evenings, and weekends

Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift or move products weighing up to 25 lbs/12kgs
  • Capable of continuous movement for extended periods with short breaks for product handling
  • Access all areas of the store freely, including sales floor, stockroom, and checkout area
  • Reasonable accommodations are available to support essential responsibilities
