Maintenance Manager
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team located in San Luis Rio Colorado - Parque Industrial.
Location: Mexico - San Luis Rio Colorado, Open to relocation
As a Maintenance Manager, you will focus on the following responsibilities:
- Plant performance indices
- Annual Maintenance plan / Maintenance budget approved
- Development of competent maintenance resources
- Manage assigned maintenance responsibilities according to Wärtsilä Services guidelines, the Project & Contract Management process, and general management practices in a safe and cost-effective way to exceed customer expectations. Implementing preventive and corrective action as necessary.
- Responsible for all activities relating to the daily maintenance management of the power plant inclusive of planning and implementation of plant maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with the plant team relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and provide suggestions for improvements.
- Administration and training of skilled and motivated maintenance personnel to assure good teamwork. Setting and maintaining the qualification and training standards for the plant maintenance personnel.
- Responsible for implementing plant safety policy and QHES procedures according to the assigned plan.
- Establish and implement standard maintenance policies and procedures in accordance with the Agreement Management process.
- Prepare reports, plans, and budgets as instructed by the Agreement Manager.
- To identify and actively seek to improve maintenance reliability and availability.
- Report to Agreement Manager.
- Interaction: Relevant Wärtsilä offices and personnel.
- Building a competitive and motivated team of maintenance personnel
- Negotiate and purchase costs related to materials and services for maintenance.
- Bachelor/ University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electromechanical or Electronic or Electrical or related) or 3 years of equivalent experience managing large operations.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in positions of operation and/or maintenance of electric power generation plants with Wärtsilä gas engines.
- Know how to motivate, engage, and inspire large teams
- Have a strong emotional intelligence
- Experience in the development of technical resources
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong collaborator with people from different parts of the organization and with different cultures
- Sense of urgency and being a serviceable person
- Problem-solver mindset
- A systematic and organized approach to work
