Catalog Sales and Support Management


Description:

Utilizes acquired expertise to tackle common and challenging business issues and recommends suitable alternatives within established parameters. Works on a variety of complex problems and may lead projects, offering guidance to team members and aiding in the decision-making process. Exercises independent judgment within defined policies to identify solutions and handle unique situations effectively. Consults when needed to make decisions on intricate business matters.


Responsibilities:

  • Manages the business relationship with mid-size to large domestic accounts, serving on the account team
  • Conducts and reviews highly complex operational analyses
  • Acts as a point of escalation and collaborates with other functions to resolve operational issues of medium to high complexity in support of customer/partner requirements
  • Represents customer/partner needs and provides business requirements for moderate to high complexity projects
  • Prepares and conducts operational performance reviews with customers/partners and supports improvement plans
  • Consults on operational matters of medium complexity to internal clients at peer levels and above
  • Proactively communicates operational process changes to customers/partners and internal clients, supporting the implementation phase
  • Acts as a sales enabler in solving complex situations

Education and Experience Required:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience, possibly with an advanced university degree
  • Typically 6 years of related experience, preferably in sales operations, supply chain, customer service, procurement, or financial management
  • Typically more than 2 years of experience in supporting large accounts

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation formats; mastery in English and local language as well as other required languages
  • Developing consulting, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Strong understanding of core HP businesses and the revenue cycle
  • Superior research and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated project management skills including planning, execution, and implementation
  • Ability to collaborate and network with other groups and functions to achieve business objectives supporting customer/partner requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with external customers/partners on a peer level and one level above
  • Basic financial and business acumen
  • Ability to identify and implement customer-specific process improvements
