The Graduate Trainee: Group Billing & Accounts position is designed to give incumbents access to a practical work environment where they can learn from experts and adapt their theoretical knowledge.The incumbent will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of Corporate Accounts at Head Office in order to streamline the Corporation's billing and invoicing processes for efficiency.The role will also provide technical and functional support in the operations of the Billing function across all Regions in order to ensure accuracy of accounts, timely processing, and efficiency.The key responsibilities include oversight on cash flow, minimize revenue losses and provide accurate reporting of sales for Corporate Accounts.**Key Competencies**:- Principles of accounting, cashiering, internal controls, billing, collection methods, bank transactions and auditing.- Advanced data base management and report writing.- Application of various business solutions to enhance operational efficiency.- Principles and practices of employee supervision, including work planning, assignment, review, performance documentation and evaluation, and the training of staff in work procedures.- Principles, practices and service delivery needs related to utility billing services or related functional area.- Recordkeeping principles and procedures- Techniques for dealing effectively with the public, vendors, contractors and other agencies through various communication means.- Knowledge of EWSC products, services & operation centers.- Bachelor's Degree in Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Management or related field
