Business Development Manager (Fintech | Partnerships | Payments | Financial Services)Our client is a fast-growing fintech company operating across multiple Asian markets.They provide digital financial solutions and are expanding their local partnership ecosystem.We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth, manage key external partners, and support internal stakeholders with strategic business insights.This role suits a proactive, commercially minded professional with strong negotiation capabilities and experience within the financial services or payments ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & PartnershipsLead business development initiatives and manage partnership pipelines.Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities in the financial services ecosystem.Develop and execute partnership strategies that enhance market penetration and business growth.Third-Party Partnership ManagementManage relationships with key external partners, including banks and financial institutions, payment gateways and processors, telecommunications partners, SMS and routing service providers.Ensure service stability, monitor performance, and resolve partner-related issues.Act as the main liaison between the company and strategic partners.Commercial Negotiation & Contract ManagementLead commercial discussions and negotiate contractual terms with partners and vendors.Review and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) and commercial conditions.Manage disputes and maintain positive, long-term partner relationships.Market Intelligence & Industry EngagementConduct regular visits to partners for relationship building and intelligence gathering.Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates.Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with product, operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth partnership execution.Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders on partner performance and business opportunities.Support internal teams in achieving commercial objectives.QualificationsExperience & KnowledgeExperience in business development or partnership management within fintech, financial services, payments, telecommunications, or related industries.Established networks with banks, payment providers, data service providers, or telecom companies is advantageous.Demonstrated ability to manage complex partnerships and drive commercial outcomes.Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation skills and ability to close commercial deals independently.Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder-management capabilities.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Effective communication and presentation skills.Self-driven, detail-oriented, and highly accountable.Additional RequirementsProficiency in English.Ability to adapt quickly to market and business changes.Flexibility to work across time zones when necessary.Willingness to travel occasionally for partner meetings and industry events.What's OfferedOpportunity to work with leading financial and payment partners in the region.Exposure to innovative fintech products and industry developments.Dynamic and collaborative working environment.Competitive compensation package.#J-*****-Ljbffr
