At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place.From the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared values.We're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth.Find your future with us.The Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Global Field Operations Organization is looking for a **Procurement Field Representative** to join our Mexico team in Chihuahua, Mexico.You will be working within the supply base to mitigate delivery or quality issues impacting Boeing production.**Position Responsibilities**:- Participates in on-site supplier assessments to identify supplier capability and to support Boeing procurement strategy.- Evaluates overall supplier health and resources to determine viability.- Identifies problems, develops recovery plans and monitors supplier performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements.- Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance supplier capability.- Provides or recommends training and mentoring on business and manufacturing practices to improve or enhance supplier delivery performance.- Monitors activities to ensure that suppliers produce conforming and compliant products on time.- Monitors emergent offload or overload suppliers and provides technical assistance to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.- Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.**Employer is not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.****Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:- 8+ years of procurement experience- Supply Chain or Manufacturing Production experience- Must be legally able to work in Mexico- Needs to be fluent in Spanish and English in both written and verbal communication**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:- Bachelor's degree or higher- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry- 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing- 5+ years of experience in RCCA, Root Cause Corrective Action**Typical Education and Experience**:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).**Relocation**:**Additional Information**:Please submit a CV or resume in written in English.**Equal Opportunity Employer**:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, genetic factors, military/veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
