At QIAGEN, you make a difference every day. Position Description We are currently searching for a Sales Application Specialist to join our Molecular Diagnostics/Life Science Sales Team. The position will cover commercial aspects of the sales support process and is responsible for demonstrations, consulting and sales support. The SAS will be responsible for improving customer satisfaction and building customer relationships while providing prompt, professional and accurate advisory and support service to customers on all QIAGEN products.
Key responsibilities
include Meeting the objectives of the assigned product line(s), coordinating and executing product demonstrations with clients and prospects as well as comprehensively promoting the QIAGEN portfolio for Molecular Diagnostics and Life Science clients. Identifying new prospects for the product lines under your responsibility, working together with the Sales Rep to close opportunities and maintaining effective communication with KOLs at the national level for the lines under their responsibility. Providing pre-sales technical support for internal clients (Sales Reps) and external clients, projecting the forecast of the materials required in the following months for the lines in charge, as well as, complying with the KPIs established by the company. Maintain effective communication with Marketing to generate specific strategies for the product lines under your responsibility and with the different functional areas of QIAGEN to ensure adequate customer service.
Position Requirements Bachelor's/Master's Degree in the area of Chemical/Biological Sciences. 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience required. Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience or technical support experience preferred. In-depth knowledge of various molecular techniques. SFDC knowledge is desirable.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (60%) across all Mexico's territory. #LI-Remote Fluent level of Spanish language and professional level of English language, written and verbal.
