Manager I, Machining Production

Position Summary:Responsible for manufacturing of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, safety and of desired quality.Liaisons with functional or operational area managers (e.g. in supply and logistics, or sales) to understand current and future product needs and develops plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.Provides supervision and guidance to Production Superintendents and/or Supervisors.Leads activities and projects to support continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.Major Responsibilities:- Coordinate and direct CNC work team to streamline processes.- Participate in and promote Kaizen events and encourage process improvement using Lean principles.- Manage CNC employee performance through the evaluation of expectations and objectives, including safe working practices, quality of work, compliance to procedures, and productivity.- Works closely with engineering to develop/modify processes to optimize machining productivity/performance.- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.- Ensure the proper functioning of the production lines.- Responsible for optimizing the productive resources of the company to obtain a progressive growth in productivity while respecting quality specifications.- Minimize waste and achieve company goals.- Enforce health and safety.- Report to upper management: Budget Control, HC Administration- Monitoring compliance with KPIs- Wide commitment to industrial safety.Required Education / Experience / Skills:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.5+ years of machine shop experience operating CNC equipment (multi-axis mills, multi-axis lathes (Engineering, Manufacturing, Production).- Experience with manual machining, CNC machining, and/or CNC Programming is a must.- 5+ years of experience with GD&T- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, contribute to technical teams, and establish effective working relationships with others is required.- Deep knowledge of production management- Advanced knowledge of production processes, machinery, assembly lines and production standards.- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills- Troubleshooting and attention to detail.- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.- Proficiency in MS Office- Bilingual English - SpanishTravel:- Passport & US VISA (updated).- Available to travel as required.About Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord Corporation ("Regal Rexnord") is a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation and mechanical power transmission products and sub-systems, serving customers around the world in the general industrial, consumer, commercial construction, food & beverage, and alternative energy end markets, among others.Regal Rexnord sells its products and solutions to OEMs, through distributors, and directly to end-users.Regal Rexnord is a $7.2B company with 36,000 associates globally.Regal Rexnord's business purpose is to create a better tomorrow by energy-efficiently converting power into motion.This means creating innovative solutions while focusing on both customer needs and the company's commitment to sustainability.The company's industrial powertrain and automation solutions offerings are an important part of the company's growth strategy.The company's strategy includes leveraging ***** to prioritize all activities, including product excellence, operational excellence and commercial excellence(i) driving organic sales growth through the introduction of innovative new products, with a particular focus on improving energy efficiency,(ii) establishing and maintaining new customers, as well as developing new opportunities with existing customers,(iii) participating in higher growth end markets and geographies, and(iv) identifying and consummating strategic, value creating acquisitions.
